Amit Khanduri brings over a decade of experience advancing economic rights. He bridges theory and practice, bringing to life evidence-based and policy-relevant solutions to reduce inequality and build towards a more inclusive economy.

Amit currently serves as Senior Director of Strategy and External Affairs at the Georgia Resilience & Opportunity Fund, where he leads the organization's efforts to position direct cash and capital as common-sense solutions for policymakers and the field. He drives GRO's policy and external affairs strategy, advancing a focused policy agenda and translating program insights into policy and field influence, expanding support for direct cash and capital solutions. He previously designed and launched the first cohort of Freedom Futures, GRO's pioneering accelerated early wealth-building pilot.

Prior to GRO, Amit directed more than $50 million in investments to expand economic opportunity at LISC Atlanta, expanded access to quality jobs at the City of Atlanta, and advised federal agencies on systems change while at Deloitte.

Amit holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Institute of Technology.
